2 | Such beautifully designed lanterns! I appreciated all the instructions & the video link that came with them. I ended up multiplying the dimensions for each of the parts by 0.818 to get smaller lanterns to hang from my chandelier. I have a cricut joy and I found that highlighting the part and clicking attach allows the machine to cut the serrations with the rest of the piece in 1 cut. This Dragon Lantern is the base design in my Lunar New Year / Chinese Lantern SVG series, perfect for Cricut, Silhouette, and 3D paper crafting. The file includes two interchangeable lantern panels—a Dragon and a Chinese Knot—so you can create three different 3D lantern looks from one template. This versatile Chinese New Year lantern makes an elegant DIY décor piece for any Lunar New Year celebration or festival display, and a beautiful addition to seasonal home décor. This design is intentionally modular, with additional Chinese zodiac animal panel designs released over time that use the same Dragon Lantern construction method.
