Project Overview: Socialtyze is a leading agency with a history of working with over 250 world-class brands. We are now expanding our services to help small businesses and entrepreneurs scale using the same high-level strategies. A core part of this offering is high-volume, short-form video content (TikToks, Reels, Shorts). To deliver this service effectively, we need to build a hyper-efficient, scalable production "machine." We are seeking a top-tier Video Operations Architect for a short-term project to design, document, and implement this entire system from the ground up. Your primary deliverable will be a complete, ready-to-run workflow. This project has strong potential to evolve into a long-term management role for the right candidate who successfully builds the system. Project Deliverables & Responsibilities: Your goal is to architect the system. This involves: System & Workflow Design: Design and comprehensively document a scalable, end-to-end workflow for producing short-form videos. This includes asset intake, briefing, project assignment, editing, review/QC, and final delivery. Technology & Automation Stack: Research, test, and establish the definitive tech stack. You will select and configure the best software, AI tools (for transcription, clip selection, etc.), plugins, and automation scripts to minimize manual work and maximize efficiency. Team Operations Playbook: Create a detailed playbook for recruiting, onboarding, and managing a remote/overseas team of freelance video editors. This should include skill requirements, communication protocols, and payment structures. Project Management Configuration: Set up and optimize a project management tool (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Frame.io) specifically for this video pipeline, creating templates and automations. Quality Control Framework: Establish and document clear Quality Control (QC) checklists and standardized feedback processes to ensure brand consistency and technical excellence. KPI & Reporting Setup: Define the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the system (e.g., cost-per-video, turnaround time) and build a simple dashboard or report template to track them. Required Skills & Experience: This is a senior role for a seasoned professional. You must be a builder and a systems-thinker. Proven experience designing and managing high-volume video production workflows, specifically for short-form social media content. Demonstrable experience building and managing remote/overseas video production teams. You understand how to create systems that leverage global talent effectively. Expert-level knowledge of the modern video editing ecosystem. This goes beyond just using Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve; you must have deep experience optimizing them with: AI-powered editing tools (e.g., Descript, Opus Clip, RunwayML) Motion Graphics Templates (MOGRTs) and asset libraries Workflow-accelerating plugins and extensions A "Systems-Thinking" Mindset: You are obsessed with process, efficiency, and optimization. You excel at creating clear documentation and scalable playbooks. Mastery of Project Management Software: You can take a tool like Asana or Monday.com and configure it into a powerful, automated engine for a creative team.
