Our guide and bus driver took us through parts of Vancouver City and gave details of the city and it's heritage. We boarded a large ferry for the trip across to Victoria Island and the gardens. Then a bus ride to Victoria itself - the seat of government. Wonderful City. Walked around and had a great dinner on the harbor. Subsequently, a Ferry ride back to Vancouver. Steve was very informative and made the day go by quickly and smoothly. The tour guide arranged another shuttle so the groups could be dropped off quicker as the ferry was late and it was getting very late at night on our return . He prepared us for what wewould see at the Bush Bouchard Gardens. He he recommended the best flavors of the gelato which is in the Italian area of the gardens, he gave us fun about the famous people who live there actors and musicians who who are from Canada. We knew it would be a long day with an early morning departure and a late return to our hotel, but Bobby made every moment so worth it. Our agenda was to visit the Butchart gardens and then spend some free time in Victoria. Between Bobby’s stories of growing up in North Vancouver, his slight detours of the route to show us the various beautiful historic neighborhoods and homes, and highlighting the people and places that make British Columbia so special, we felt like we saw so much more. His attention to detail, his punctuality, and fantastic suggestions kept our group of 40, educated, entertained, safe, and thoroughly satisfied.
