We are currently looking for a qualified Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team. Job Purpose: As a Technical Support Engineer, you will have the opportunity to support our customers and learn cutting edge technologies in the dynamic software security space. What you will be doing: Responding to incoming customer requests and supporting complex D3 applications (SaaS and On-Prem). Tasked as liaison between the clients, Dev team, BA/PM team, Cyber team, Server team, QA team, and Design team to provide advanced troubleshooting, application support, analysis, best practice configuration, training and etc. Handle technical escalations within team response/resolution targets Taking ownership of tasks and continuously follow up on client issue from inception till completion and to ensure the highest level of customer service & satisfaction for all clients Ability to work Night-shift, weekend and on-call shifts on a rotational basis Provide Team Leader or Manager feedback with regards to Technical Support procedures and policies, with the goal of improving overall customer satisfaction as well as engineer efficiency Properly documenting actions taken on cases opened, worked on and processed; Creating knowledge base articles and technical whitepapers, and sharing knowledge amongst customers and peers Requirements: A bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field 2+ years’ experience in the IT field, including experience as a Systems/Network Administrator, or a technical support role supporting Systems/Network administrators Experience with security products, such as Firewalls, IPSec, IDS/IPS, Anti -Spam, Anti-Virus, Web Security proxies, Email Security filters, VPNs Cyber security is value-added skill Experience with Active Directory (or any LDAP variant) group policy configuration and deployment Experience with cloud virtualization such as Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure The ability to work with complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires review Excellent verbal and written communication skills, inspiring confidence while leading customers through the steps to resolve issues via phone, and email Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Work Remotely: No #HP#BCJobs#TechJobs#Hiring#SupportEngineer Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $45,000.00 per year Additional pay: Bonus pay Benefits: Casual dress Commuter benefits Company events Extended health care On-site gym Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Night shift Weekends as needed Work Location: In person |
