We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in quarterbacking all service providers, interfacing with investors, and overseeing investor reporting, capital calls/distributions, and audit/tax processes. This role involves significant oversight and teaching responsibilities for the Controller, ensuring the highest standards of financial management and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Service Provider Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all service providers, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of financial operations. Investor Relations: Interface with investors, providing timely and accurate investor reporting and addressing any queries or concerns. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and distribution of financial reports, including capital calls and distributions. Audit and Tax Oversight: Ensure compliance with audit and tax requirements, with most of the 2024 audit/tax oversight already completed. Controller Oversight: Provide guidance and oversight to the Controller, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Management Company Reporting: Optimize management company reporting and budgeting processes. Expense Report Processing: Streamline and enhance the expense report processing system. Fund Performance Reporting: Develop and implement best practices for fund performance reporting. Carried Interest Tracking and Forecasting: Improve the tracking and forecasting of carried interest. Qualifications: Proven experience as a CFO, preferably within the fund management industry. Strong knowledge of financial management, investor relations, and audit/tax processes. Excellent leadership and teaching skills, with the ability to mentor and oversee the Controller. Experience in optimizing financial reporting and budgeting processes.
